This 2.5 inch stretched-x micro brushless is one of, if not, the first of its kind. Taking hints from our full-size Aeolus, the Ares Mini and a slight nod to the gaurded props of a tiny whoop, the Aeolus Mini is a true game changer in the Micro Brushless class. Coming in at 119mm this micro is capable of housing 110X-size motors. We recommend the 1102 7800kv for an indoor version, though those motors rock on 3S too and 1104 for an outdoor version. The bottomplate of the first version of the Aeolus mini is 2mm so if you rock an agressive props on the 1104 motors you're going to see it in your video, however on quad blades like the Gemfan 2035 you should be rocking one of the smoothese and fastest micro rides ever created! Plus you get the style and durability of the TPU pod encompassing your components.

Perfectly paired for the new DYS 11-series motors and 4-in-1 10A ESCs this build will be light weight and powerful for its size.

Disclaimer: DYS may put different size screws in their motor bags. Just because we reccommend motors for a frame does not mean just ram the screws in. ;) Check tolerances and make sure you will not be putting a screw into a winding. People have done this in the past and asked for new motors due to not checking for themselves.

2.5mm Bottomplate: 11g

TPU Pod: 6g

11x 8mm Nylon Screws

3x M3 Nylon Nuts

5x 6mm Standoffs

4x Big O-rings

    Awesome Kwad!!!
The Build: AA Aeolus Mini 2.5 inch w/microcam pod, Emax 1106's, HGLRC XJB F438 TX20V2, Runcam Micro Sparrow, GEMFAN 2540 Props, Frsky R-XSR receiver. The Fun: This little quad is awesome! It was a challenging build due to the size, and I had to trim the canopy for prop clearance and to be able to see the channel display on the VTX. But, it has more than made up for the build in performance! The quad fits in a jacket pocket well, and flies like my 5" Quad. Do yourself a favor and get one! You won't be disappointed. Atmospheric Adventures, you did a great job!!!

    Best Micro Around
There's not questions this is the best micro around. With the Micro Cam Pod that supports the Micro Swift and Arrow you get the feel and sight of a full size quad. Depending on components this set up can be a little heavier but I find that it's not that big of an issue if you find the right motor/prop/battery combo. As far as aesthetics, durability and flight characteristics, it does not get better than the Aeolus 2.5 with the micro cam pod. However, it won't support 2.5-inch props with that pod on, only 2.3-inch which is just enough :)

Excellent Frame - So Close to Exactly Right
Yes I will buy more of these as my 2 1/2" micro fleet grows, all my micro racers will be this Aeolus 2.5 inch Durability = absolutely top notch Price = totally affordable, great price The only problem (manageable problem) is the canopy. - 1st off it can be very confusing to buy the proper canopy by looking at the web site, the pictures are small and not much explanation. My initial purchase was 2 frames and of course I got the wrong canopy. Call and talk to someone to make sure you get it right the 1st time, I should have. - After I got the correct canopy (Mini w/ MicroCam Pod) I had to make quite a few modifications to the canopy to make it work. 2 1/2" props (GemFan 2540 Flash) won't fit, have to dremel away material at the front to fit them. There really is no hole your dipole antenna will fit through, had to dremel away material. There is no way to see the VTX readout, had to make a hole in the top of the canopy. Several other small areas of the canopy had to be dremeled out for motor wires and to access the VTX button. - My biggest existing problem is I can't get any camera tilt. Connector on the RunCam Micro Swift 2 is hitting the VTX board on the HGLRC stack. The pod needs to be stretched forward just slightly to allow decent camera tilt. Again, with a little work, this frame is really awesome! I will buy more, just hoping to figure out a better canopy solution that won't require as much work to be usable.
